Pharming Man 2013

PharmNotts proudly presents The Pharming Man 2013, an inter-uni event. If you're a big fan of Running Man, you will LOVE this! I'm not even a fan and I loved it too. :)


There are 10 stations and one final game. There are 9 groups of participants. Each group has four members.

Hui Ling, Yng Yeng and I were the game masters of Station 9 : Shoes and Stairs. Basically, you have to kick your shoes up the stairs and hit the target we have set. You CANNOT go over the target. Sounds easy?

NOT. It's super tiring. You have to pick up your own shoes after you've kick it up the stairs. I've tried the game myself. I kicked my slippers too high and in the wrong direction. It ended stuck on the the first floor! I have to go all the way up and get back my slippers. Hui Ling tried the game using her sport shoes. Apparently, it's easier if you use sport shoes because it's heavier.

It's enjoyable and fun watching people attempting the game! Running up and down the stairs and kicking their shoes up the stairs! Some groups took a very long time to pass through some succeeded at their first attempt!




I didn't realise some of my friends are participating the game until they reached my station. We were surprised when we saw Darren, Michael, Sum and Zhi Yuan heading our station. They went through our station in a blink of an eye! Darren hits the target at his first attempt.

After the station games, we had lunch! We found something hilarious when they were at Station 7. In station 7, one has to hold a Rocky stick with his mouth and the other has to eat the stick until there is only 1.5cm of the stick left. It must be 1.5cm. Not too much, not too little. Sum was the one holding it while Darren is the one eating it. They actually kissed! Darren really don't care! He said "Well, it's not my first kiss, so I just do it. I don't care." When it's Michael and Zhi Yuan's turn, Michael ran away! He was so embarrassed! He was shutting his eyes tightly throughout the game!




After lunch, we have our final game! The final race! There are 19 metal tins hidden all around the campus. 11 of them are real, the other 8 are decoys. There were two teams in this race : The Participants and The 7 MCs. Let the race begins!



The race has gone crazy. People running around the campus like mad and snatching tins from their opponent's arms. Some even got cut by the metal tin when they were snatching. There was even blood on his T-shirt. Looks like he was in a war!

It was a tie in the end. Everyone won! Everyone gets a medal! The inter-uni event was a success! Everyone had fun!
